Ever heard about beacons? A beacon is a new 'indoor' geo-localization and contextual communication system that allows direct customized interaction with users of mobile devices whom are in the vicinity. This application was developed by Geomobile to interact with " beacon devices such as Estimote , to demonstrate the great potential this new technology has in many sectors. With this application you will be able to: - Identify new beacons around you. - Assign an UUID to your beacon. - Try two different demos of customizable notifications. - Try our visual proximity demo. - Connect your Pebble to read beacon information on your watch. - If you have three beacons, you can play with a triangulation demo. * This App currently works only with Estimote beacons, we will add more beacon hardware support in the future. ** We will be updating Estimote s SDK as it becomes available to be able to show temperature and battery information.
